A Kentico Case Study
MLSE’s Team Up Challenge is a not-for-profit fundraising event supporting Camp Trillium that required a full website overhaul after a successful 2013 debut. MLSE engaged A.K.A. New Media to create an engaging, mobile-responsive site that could drive registrations and donations, differentiate the event in a crowded market, speak to a younger athletic audience, showcase MLSE assets (teams, venue, celebrities), and integrate seamlessly with the raisin® peer-to-peer fundraising system while giving Camp Trillium stronger visibility.
A.K.A. delivered a modern, interactive site built on Kentico with a user-friendly WYSIWYG editor and raisin-powered registration/donation pages, keeping event branding and messaging consistent across devices. The redesign increased traffic, registrations and donations for the 2014 event, made content management simple for staff, elevated Camp Trillium’s profile alongside the MLSE brand, and earned the site a Kentico “Top 10 Site of the Month” recognition.
