A Kentico Case Study
Mitie, a leading UK facilities management and consultancy group, needed to bring its vision of “inspiring change in the way people live and work” into a digital experience that matched its scale. Its website—Mitie’s largest marketing asset with ~60,000 monthly uniques—was stuck on a restrictive bespoke CMS, with crowded navigation across more than a dozen business divisions, poor search and mobile performance, and a complicated recruitment journey. Stakeholders required a responsive, easy-to-manage site that supported personalization, marketing automation, Salesforce integration, microsites and clearer persona-driven journeys.
Mitie selected Kentico EMS and partner NetConstruct to deliver the rebuild. Kentico supplied out-of-the-box EMS features (personalization, marketing automation, Salesforce connector, multi-site licensing) and an intuitive CMS, while NetConstruct implemented centralized content, property inheritance, custom web parts and flexible Portal Engine layouts to simplify content management and enable persona-based landing pages. The site has just launched with excellent internal and social feedback and encouraging analytics; the rebuild is expected to improve navigation, scalability, conversions and reduce microsite and recruitment costs.
