A Kentico Case Study
The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), a leading association for medical practice managers, needed to replace a seven‑year run on an unstable, fragmented CMS with a reliable, extensible web platform. The organization faced a large content and commerce challenge—more than 10,000 pieces of content, 200 online features and 500 products—while also requiring improved e‑commerce, responsive design, better search, CRM integration and governance with workflows and role-based permissions.
Partnering with BlueModus, MGMA migrated to Kentico (upgraded from 7.0 to 8.0), using taxonomy, a logical folder structure and built‑in workflows to organize content and delegate publishing. E‑commerce was configured and integrated with the Personify AMS, responsive layouts and mobile previews were implemented, and online marketing features (A/B testing, newsletters, personalization) were enabled. The site launched on time with no downtime, developers built new projects faster, content managers found the system easier to use, and MGMA gained a stable, cost‑saving foundation for future work.
