Lubriplate, the oldest independent lubricant manufacturer in the U.S., partnered with iMedia to modernize a dated website that separated its online store from product content, offered limited search for PDF datasheets and MSDS files, and lacked integrated shipping and a smooth checkout experience. The disconnected distributor locator and poor site usability made it difficult for customers to find products and complete purchases.

iMedia rebuilt the site on the Kentico CMS, integrating e‑commerce, Kentico’s UPS shipping connector, one‑to‑one product linking, improved navigation, searchable datasheets/MSDS, a geo-enabled distributor locator, and an “Ask a LubXpert” inquiry system. After launching in September 2012, traffic rose 150%; the site later added multilingual support (English, Spanish, Chinese), upgraded to Kentico’s Enterprise Marketing Solution, and was made responsive in 2014 so customers can purchase on mobile devices.
