Lifehouse Hotel & Spa, an independent luxury hotel and spa in Thorpe‑le‑Soken, Essex, engaged Crafted after finding their existing site and CMS couldn’t support a repositioned brand or evolving marketing needs. The main challenges were to reflect the hotel’s luxury experience online, improve site speed and mobile responsiveness, simplify admin for multiple users, and boost bookings, gift‑voucher sales and organic visibility across three core customer groups: health & wellness, indulgence & relaxation, and business & corporate.

Crafted completed a full rebrand and rebuilt the site on Kentico, delivering flexible page templates, a bespoke enquiry system, media management, third‑party booking integration and caching to speed pages and simplify content updates. Launched in February 2017, the new responsive site delivered an 84% annual increase in online bookings, a 42% reduction in average page load time, an 11.5% lift in traffic and a substantial rise in e‑commerce sales including gift vouchers.
