Land O'Lakes - Customer Case Study

Land O’Lakes, a member-owned agricultural cooperative and one of the largest U.S. producers of butter and cheese, needed to modernize its consumer-facing dairy foods site. The project required migrating from a legacy CMS to a new Kentico environment, combining desktop and mobile into a single responsive site, integrating Azure search, surfacing recipes from a separate Recipe Management System (RMS), redeveloping the Simple Rewards membership features (including migrating hashed passwords), and meeting a tight four-month deadline.

High Monkey guided the CMS selection and rebuilt the front end with responsive Kentico templates, developed a custom web part to integrate Azure Search with faceted results, created page types to pull and present RMS-managed recipes, and extended authentication to migrate Simple Rewards users. The site relaunched on schedule (March 2016), delivering improved search, seamless recipe integration, responsive design across devices, and an editor-friendly system Land O’Lakes can manage independently.
