Kamili Safaris, a specialist in safari accommodation across Africa, commissioned Distinction to redesign its website to better showcase extensive wildlife photography and to rebuild the site’s information architecture. The brief required continuing with Kentico CMS, simplifying a complex multi-level location structure, linking images to the client’s Flickr account instead of bulk uploads, and meeting business goals such as improved SEO, a 10% traffic increase, lower bounce rates and a 5% monthly uplift in conversions.

Over a two-month build Distinction developed a new sitemap and IA, proofed concepts early, and delivered Kentico templates with full‑width background images, an image slider and a show/hide gallery. They created a background-image document type to link Flickr images, implemented flexible templates, workflow/versioning, analytics and styled WYSIWYG editing. The relaunch improved navigation and search rankings, reduced average bounce rate by 17%, produced steady month‑on‑month traffic growth and higher conversion rates, and earned strong client satisfaction.
