Feldmann Engineering’s Jiffy on Ice brand, which manufactures ice-augur drills and parts, was using a legacy e-commerce solution tightly coupled to Microsoft Dynamics GP that was costly to enhance and hard to maintain. Feldmann engaged Heartland Business Systems to recommend a modern, customizable platform that would simplify content management, streamline operations, and improve the customer shopping experience.

HBS implemented Kentico 10 with SmartConnect, building a responsive site with custom templates, web-service integrations to synchronize customers, orders, invoices and pricing with Dynamics GP, tokenized payment processing that charges cards at shipment, parts-diagram ordering, warranty/dealer portals, and educational content. The result was a modern, easy-to-maintain site with faster front- and back-end performance, fewer manual order adjustments, improved usability, and on-time delivery.
