JF Recruiting is a leading global yacht-crew recruitment portal (founded 2003) with over 40,000 crew members and 16,000 employers registered. The business needed to replace its legacy Microsoft classic ASP site with a modern, responsive platform that could handle large concurrent user volumes, migrate a large existing dataset, preserve complex functionality (including subscriptions and payments), and be cloud-ready for Microsoft Azure hosting.

Discover IT rebuilt the site on Kentico hosted in Azure, using responsive, Bootstrap-based layouts, extensive caching and device-aware image resizing, custom modules and controls, and the Discover IT Sage Pay payment gateway. Integrations include RSS job aggregation, SendGrid email delivery and document compression, and a bespoke data-migration module. The relaunch delivered a faster, mobile-friendly site with improved SEO and usability, driving a 7.5% increase in mobile visitors, an 11% drop in bounce rate and a 15% rise in pages per session.
