A Kentico Case Study
Jesuit High School of Sacramento, a college-preparatory Catholic school with a full enrollment and a strong college-placement record, needed to modernize an aging intranet used by staff, students, and parents. The school faced the challenge of recreating its record systems and online forms within Kentico while the old data structure remained in use, organizing disparate information into logical sections, and providing public-facing forms and easier editing for staff.
Michael Baker International inventoried the site, rebuilt the school’s databases in a Kentico-compatible framework with import scripts to sync legacy data, and redesigned the intranet to match the public site with responsive design. Key features—detention management, volunteer management, prefect request automation, facility use tracking, and custom FAQ/department/staff tools—now allow teachers, parents, and students to access and manage records and forms on any device, improving information dissemination and day-to-day administration.
