A Kentico Case Study
The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, a non-profit dedicated to honoring veterans, educating the public and inspiring youth, needed a redesigned website that would serve as a primary marketing tool and better connect with diverse geographic and demographic audiences. Key challenges included creating a fluid navigation and content architecture, adding interactive features, capturing segmented visitor information, and providing a CMS that gave staff not just content control but the flexibility to alter design elements.
Synergy Corporate Technologies won the project, identified primary and secondary audiences, developed a clear taxonomy and best-in-class visual design, and implemented the Kentico CMS (WYSIWYG editing, workflows, templating, integrated search and publishing). The result is an easier-to-maintain, user-focused site that improves access to event and educational content, supports targeted outreach, and—per the museum director—made the process “smooth and easy” while meeting expectations.
