Honeywell Generators - Customer Case Study

Generac, the exclusive licensee of Honeywell-branded generators, engaged Laughlin Constable in 2015 to rebuild an outdated Honeywell Generators site that didn’t expose the full product line or provide clear paths for distinct user groups (homeowners, contractors) and needed a dealer account feature. The project also faced content procurement and service-integration challenges that required a flexible CMS approach.

Laughlin Constable used Kentico to develop shared page templates and more than 70 configurable web parts, implemented Content Staging, and split the rollout into two phases (product/content first, authenticated dealer accounts later). The responsive site added a real-time dealer locator (Kentico API) and a geolocation-powered power-needs calculator, streamlined content entry, enabled personalized experiences, and improved conversion-focused CTAs.
