HLB Mann Judd, a financial services firm, needed to upgrade its website from Kentico 6 to 8.1 to enable Kentico EMS and gain deeper insight into customer behaviour as part of a direct marketing strategy. The site was heavily customised, so the upgrade had to be done incrementally, causing numerous bug fixes and template issues that required careful testing and remediation.
Get Started ran a workshop to define priorities, built customer personas and implemented staged gated content so first- and subsequent-time downloaders supply progressively more information. Customer data is now segmented into Contact Groups by location and site activity, the CMS admin experience is improved, and HLB’s Kentico 8.1 site with EMS enabled gives the firm a much clearer view of its audience and a platform for targeted email campaigns and content personalisation.
