A Kentico Case Study
Heska, a global veterinary health and pharmaceutics company, wanted a modern website that extended its brand to prospects, customers, investors and job seekers while making product information easy to find and update. The old site stored most product content in a SQL database, forcing marketing to rely on IT for changes and lacking content-approval workflows; Heska also needed improved design, navigation, SEO-driven lead generation, credible product training content, and easier content management.
Wakefly implemented Kentico over a 12-week project, using forms, templates, search, menus, workflows and API integrations. A custom migration script converted the marketing product database into Kentico document types, and a private customer portal was built that authenticates against Heska’s ERP to display orders, training, warranties and account info. The result: a cleaner, brand-forward site with streamlined publishing and security controls, higher organic traffic from an SEM-driven SEO overhaul, better lead capture via landing pages, lower webmaster costs, more timely product updates, and improved customer communications.
