A Kentico Case Study
Health Match BC is a government-funded recruitment service that needed to replace an aging web presence (from 2003) with a robust, fully integrated public website and secure web application to improve the candidate experience and streamline recruitment of health professionals to British Columbia. The project required rich search and matching tools, social media and knowledge‑base integration, candidate and agency self‑management features, automated workflows, and support for complex use cases (couples, community data) — all delivered on a compressed timeline and within tight resourcing constraints.
Number 41 Media, working with Eclipse Creative, delivered a feature-rich solution: a Kentico‑powered public site, a password‑secured web application for candidates and staff, and a central database for accounts, postings and lifestyle content. The team used stakeholder sessions, clickable wireframes, data modelling, iterative design and builds to align UX, branding and functionality; Kentico was chosen for ease of use, ASP.NET compatibility and ready-built controls. The result was a scalable, user-focused system that met the project requirements and was delivered on time and on budget, with ongoing updates to improve recruitment workflows and staff productivity.
