Hartstichting (the Dutch Heart Foundation) is a nonprofit that needed a way to spread reliable information about cardiovascular disease to patients, loved ones, and the general public while protecting visitors’ privacy. The main challenge was providing personalized guides and relevant content for different user groups without asking for personal data, tracking behavior, or requiring logins, while also enabling community features like AED and volunteer registration.

TrueLime built a privacy‑focused website with on‑site personalized guides, targeted content delivery, forms for AED and volunteer sign‑ups, and marketing automation for sharing guides. The relaunch created a life‑saving AED/volunteer network and drove strong engagement: a 30% increase in returning visitors in the first month and 3,500 new volunteers, with the site becoming a Site of the Year 2017 finalist.
