Godfrey Daniels, an entertainment and events organization, struggled with a large, hard-to-navigate website and needed a much simpler administrative interface so non-programming staff could easily add and manage regular shows and events.
The team redesigned navigation and implemented a Kentico-based solution using jQuery, custom document types, tables, widgets and repeaters, adding logic for paid vs. free events (dynamic PayPal buttons), reservation links to BizForms, and automatic status changes (e.g., ticket sales disabled three hours before a show or when sold out). The eight-week build greatly simplified administration, strengthened the brand and led to a dramatic increase in ticket sales, with sold-out shows within weeks of launch.
