A Kentico Case Study
Georges River Council, formed in May 2016 from several merged wards, needed a single, user-friendly digital hub to consolidate information, news and events quickly after amalgamation. With a tight timeline, stretched council resources and the requirement to meet accessibility standards, the council sought a modern, responsive CMS that would let editors rapidly collate content, manage updates and support a large authoring team.
Interesting implemented Kentico on Microsoft Azure, created a new site architecture and visual language, enabled staging and UI personalization, and trained editors to use streamlined workflows. The result: all legacy content successfully amalgamated, a responsive, accessible site that averages about 5,000 page views per day, and a 40-person content team actively managing updates through efficient workflows.
