General Tours World Traveler - Customer Case Study

General Tours, a premium travel/tourism operator, partnered with Fuseideas to redesign www.generaltours.com and launch before peak season. Short-term goals were to promote their premium product and meet a tight launch window; longer-term goals included shortening a three-month content update process, streamlining edits between website and brochure, and building stronger analytics. Challenges included limited staff, complex and variable pricing data, and a need to eliminate duplicate content entry between brochure and site.

Fuseideas rebuilt the site on the Kentico CMS and developed a proprietary interface engine to ingest brochure content and excursion pricing from Adobe InDesign directly into Kentico, creating a single source of truth. The solution cut content update time from three months to under three weeks, enabled faster deployment with out-of-the-box Kentico features and APIs, delivered full analytics for smarter traffic insights, and produced a graphics-rich, mobile-friendly site launched in time for the peak season.
