Flow Energy, an award‑winning Ipswich energy supplier with more than 250,000 customer accounts, engaged Crafted to replace a limited third‑party customer portal. The brief required a responsive, secure portal that integrated with Flow’s proprietary API and WorldPay, improved analytics and content editing, and could be delivered quickly and scaled reliably in future.

Crafted built the My Flow portal on Kentico CMS and hosted it on Azure (load‑balanced App Service, Azure SQL, Redis, Storage and Insights), using Kentico security, widget zones, workflows and custom tables to integrate customer data, payments and analytics. The launch delivered clear gains year‑on‑year: visitors +54%, online statement views +45% and meter readings submitted +49%, while providing a flexible, secure platform for future enhancements.
