A Kentico Case Study
Florida’s Great Northwest, the regional economic development organization promoting the Florida Panhandle, needed a modern website to serve as the focal point for investors, businesses and site selectors. Its legacy site was outdated, difficult to manage and poorly indexed by search engines, and it could not present the region’s large datasets and maps in an engaging way. The organization wanted to position the region and its partner entities as subject-matter experts, drive traffic to partner sites, and provide powerful mapping tools and exportable reports for users.
Bit‑Wizards rebuilt the site with a reworked information architecture, improved navigation, an interactive “Map Room,” and detailed county profile pages, while revamping the Buildings & Sites database to integrate seamlessly. Built on Kentico CMS and hosted in Microsoft Azure using AJAX/jQuery and HTML5/CSS3, the site is mobile-friendly, data-rich and visually engaging, enabling users to create custom reports, explore interactive maps and access demographic and property data. The result is a faster, easier-to-manage resource that improved usability, search visibility and partner engagement, earning strong client praise.
