Fastpitch Online Showcase (FPOS) is a full-service softball recruiting company that helps players market themselves to college coaches, led by former Division I coach Kim Gwydir. FPOS needed a technical refresh: upgrade from Kentico CMS 5 to 7, fix recurring performance issues and slow custom web parts, add new functionality including a mobile interface, and enable membership and e-commerce features.
Citytech upgraded the site to Kentico 7, optimized web parts using Kentico API and caching, restructured the HTML and added responsive styles and device profiles, and implemented membership/e-commerce with document-level access and upgrade-by-payment flows. The result is a stable, faster site with a much-improved UI and mobile support, higher user satisfaction, and measurable business growth.
