Fáilte Ireland - Customer Case Study

Fáilte Ireland, the Irish Government’s National Tourism Development Authority, faced a fragmented online presence for trade customers: eleven standalone trade sites with inconsistent branding, complex navigation and taxonomy, untimely content and disparate business processes. The organisation needed a single Government-to-Business channel to consolidate multiple sites, migrate and upgrade existing business tools, add a customised search and give editors a highly flexible, easy-to-manage CMS — all against a tight 12–16 week timeline.

Partnering with i3 Digital, the project deployed Kentico CMS 6 using a widget-based approach that gives admins and editors granular control over page elements, while custom and default widgets, migrated business tools and a tailored search were integrated into the new platform. Delivered, tested and supported with training over a 20-week engagement, the result was a single, manageable corporate G2B site that consolidated legacy sites, simplified content management and taxonomy, ensured consistent branding and improved the online experience for Fáilte Ireland’s trade audience.
