A Kentico Case Study
EVN Group, a leading energy and environmental services provider in Lower Austria, needed a website relaunch to modernize and expand its online customer services. The brief called for migrating and redesigning an established Kentico 2009 site, optimizing for mobile, integrating shop functionality and refactoring complex business processes — a technically and operationally challenging undertaking.
After strategic consulting, EMAKINA upgraded EVN to a newer Kentico platform and delivered a responsive, customer‑focused site. New and improved features include online meter reading and payment management, customer registration and tariff switching, an interactive “EVN house” for energy‑saving advice, a photovoltaic savings calculator and a location map for services. The first relaunch phase was completed in four months, the full Kentico requirements were implemented and the platform now supports ongoing feature additions and an integrated online shop.
