Edinburgh Business School - Customer Case Study

Edinburgh Business School, which supports students on campus, online and via more than 25 global partner centres and 300 approved tutors, needed a secure central hub to simplify communication and document sharing across its expanding partner network. The challenge was to provide a password‑protected portal that kept partner information, resources and tutor approval processes up to date without duplicating content or fragmenting data across systems.

MMT Digital built a role‑based portal using Kentico CMS integrated with Edinburgh Business School’s EBS Global repository so content and data stay synchronized and administration is minimal. The solution includes seven user permission levels, a tutor approval workflow that lets partners submit tutors and documentation while Edinburgh Business School reviews and archives decisions back to EBS Global, and required little bespoke development — launched in September 2012 and well received by users.
