eCars247 - Customer Case Study

eCars247 set out to become the UK’s first online-only second-hand car dealer and the first in the world to offer e-signature for finance agreements. To replicate a Carvana-style end-to-end experience, they needed a state-of-the-art e-commerce platform to let customers buy cars, part-exchange, apply for and receive finance approval, and book delivery — all while integrating complex payment and finance systems such as Hitachi PaybyFinance.

MMT Digital created a new brand and built a Kentico-based site integrated with Hitachi PaybyFinance, Worldpay, Intercom and AutoTrader, adding e-signature in the checkout and flexible widgets for content management. The result was a seamless 30-minute online buying journey, the first sale within two weeks of launch (before promotion), and a market-leading, digitally disruptive model that lets eCars247 expand beyond its physical catchment without new showrooms.
