District of Lillooet - Customer Case Study

The District of Lillooet, the municipal government’s primary online presence, hired Number 41 Media to redesign its existing Kentico website to integrate the Guaranteed Rugged brand and meet the requirements of a partially funding grant. The main challenge was creating a seamless, uniform design across two web presences that was attractive and easy to use while supporting longer-term economic development goals and ensuring the client could maintain content independently.

Number 41 Media conducted a full site audit and competitor review, re-architected the information architecture from audience- to topic-based navigation, and produced wireframes and a new design system based on the Guaranteed Rugged brand. Their Kentico 8 build by certified developers included a locked-down CKEditor, custom event management and archiving, and client training plus QA. The project delivered improved development efficiency and higher client satisfaction and ease of updating content; Kentico was chosen for its ease of use, ASP.NET compatibility, and ready-built controls.
