DB Export, a New Zealand beer brand, needed a faster, mobile-friendly website and a platform that could host blog-style owned content while remaining flexible enough to accommodate a planned rebrand. Their Kentico 7 site was outdated, and they wanted better audience insight and personalised content without rebuilding for every design change.
Union Digital rebuilt the site on Kentico 8 using a modular “building block” approach—reusable widgets and tiles for video, newsletter signups and image/text combinations—plus lead scoring and marketing automation to capture behaviour. The relaunched site delivered an 81% relative improvement in bounce rate (21% absolute), segmented tens of thousands of contacts into five engagement tiers, and enabled a fast, efficient 2015 rebrand by updating the master template and widgets.
