A Kentico Case Study
Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS), the organization that manages aviation services at Dubai International and Al Maktoum International, engaged Synechron to redesign its public portal. The project had to deliver real-time flight information (departed, landed, airborne, previous), flight plans and news, job application functionality, authenticated access to protected content, media navigation, improved search and browsing, and a bilingual (English/Arabic) mobile-friendly experience.
Synechron implemented Kentico Enterprise CMS with a responsive Bootstrap front end, using Kentico localization and macros for bilingual content, a smart header search, a jQuery flight-board widget, and jobs integration via web services and the Kentico API; user profiles and metadata tracking were also added. The result is a maintainable, mobile-ready site that serves real-time flight and job data, simplifies content management for non-technical staff after brief training, and was delivered with continuous support during handover.
