A Kentico Case Study
Dammit Dolls, a maker of durable stress dolls, hired Wakefly to redesign dammitdolls.com to better reflect the brand and improve e-commerce usability. The project needed a responsive, highly visual site with an interchangeable homepage grid that non-technical staff could manage, plus complex weight- and address-based tax and shipping rules, single-use and department-specific coupon logic, and an Amazon Pay checkout option.
Wakefly built the site on Kentico 8 and extended its e-commerce platform with custom web parts (JavaScript/CSS/API), ZipTax integration for automated taxes, weight-based shipping calculations, custom macros and scheduled tasks for coupon rules, and an Amazon Pay integration. The result: easier content management and reporting and significant KPI gains — two months after launch sessions +57%, users +72%, pageviews +32%, and session duration +45% — alongside faster access to sales data and simpler site editing.
