CTAM - Customer Case Study

The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) is a non-profit that supports the cable industry and operates the consumer-facing site cablemover.com. CTAM’s primary goals were to help consumers find their correct cable TV, internet or phone provider, capture accurate lead tracking and conversion data, support high traffic and a fast user experience, handle multi-lingual (especially Spanish) audiences, run A/B tests, and serve the same content across many vanity URLs.

The solution used Kentico CMS with portal pages, ASPX templates and web parts to integrate an address verification service and a lookup that routes users to the correct Multi-System Operator (12 MSOs currently). Kentico and Google Analytics provided extensive reporting and testing (including Google Web Analyzer), domain aliases supported 90+ vanity domains and language-specific URLs, and a CDN delivered common content for speed. The initial build took one developer about 200 hours, leveraging Kentico features for deep content, robust reporting, content staging, multi-domain handling and scalable hosting.
