A Kentico Case Study
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) is an international training organization focused on prevention and safe behavior management. Working with agency partner Laughlin Constable, CPI needed to consolidate four disparate websites into a single domain that delivered consistent product and service messaging, supported SEO and user-driven information gathering, and provided a flexible, efficient technology platform. The project’s main technical challenges were unifying complex, entitled content and many user roles while integrating Kentico CMS with Saleslogic CRM, Eventix for events, and Great Plains for product data.
Laughlin Constable implemented a Kentico-based portal with numerous custom web parts, extended membership functionality, custom tables and tailored e-commerce providers (including Avalara Avatax and PayFlow), completing the site in six months with active development under three months. The result is a cohesive brand experience across formerly separate sub-brands, with rapid development enabled by Kentico’s built-in modules and .NET platform compatibility; in under four months the site handled more than 1,700 product orders and event registrations and nearly 12,000 registered users.
