Countryside Greenhouse is West Michigan’s largest retail greenhouse, selling thousands of plant products both in-store and online. Facing a highly seasonal business with a roughly 500% spring/summer traffic spike, they needed a friendly, branded e-commerce site that could scale reliably, support bulk product management, integrate with their POS, and enable gift card sales with trackable identifiers and printable barcodes.

BizStream implemented a custom Kentico-based site, migrated the product catalog, customized the shopping cart and checkout, and added GUIDs and dynamically generated barcodes for gift cards plus a REST sync to the POS so activation and status update automatically. The site launch (April 18, 2016) drove a 33% increase in online gift card revenue and a 17% increase in gift card order volume, while caching and training ensured scalability and easy administration.
