Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care, a nationwide automotive service franchisor, needed a scalable intranet to support franchisees and employees across many locations. They required a dual-use site with a uniform design, secure franchise portal, robust employee directory and community features (calendars, blogs, forums), but faced challenges with out‑of‑the‑box templates, specific navigation behavior, and disparate employee data sources.
