A Kentico Case Study
The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, home to over four million specimens, engaged thunder::tech to refresh its web presence and improve visitor and ticketing experiences while driving membership enrollment and online donations. The project needed to prioritize and surface critical content (hours, events, exhibits, donations) and add tools like a blog, custom maps, events, and instant CMS updates for museum staff.
Thunder::tech built a responsive site on Kentico CMS Ultimate, creating conversion-focused templates, integrating Tessitura for synchronized ticketing and customer data, and adding interactive features such as a photo gallery, site map, events calendar and historical timeline. After training, CMNH reported pages per session up 16.67%, average session duration up 14.39%, bounce rate down 15.81% and average page download time reduced by 87.18%, with faster, more intuitive content publishing for staff.
