Westminster City Council needed a user-friendly online booking and payment system for its food safety courses and engaged Biznet IIS (partner i3 Digital) to design and build it. The main challenges were creating an attractive, easy-to-navigate public reference for courses while integrating with the council’s existing CAPITA payment engine and meeting Westminster’s technical and quality standards.

Biznet IIS implemented a Kentico CMS-based solution with a custom courses database, event calendar, BizForms attendee/company records, and ecommerce customisations to generate receipts and invoices. The site allows real-time availability checks, single or multiple bookings, cost calculations and online card payments, was deployed within six weeks, and replaced manual phone/mail processing—speeding confirmations, reducing administration costs, and cutting phone and email enquiries.
