Christ Church UCC - Customer Case Study

Christ Church UCC, a large congregation with diverse ministries, needed a website that could showcase events, photos and other dynamic content while being simple enough for a three-person content team to manage. The project also required preserving their deep integration with Google Calendar, adding on-site photo galleries and a custom image rotator, and even began without a finalized logo or in-house design/coding resources.

JX2 Technologies built the site on Kentico CMS, using the Google Calendar API and jQuery to surface upcoming events on the homepage (with a full calendar iframe on an inner page) and custom document types, widgets and transformations to enable quickly placed photo galleries and image rotators anywhere on the site. The result was a flexible, easy-to-administer site that clients found far more user-friendly than their prior CMS—delivering dynamic content and strong administrative simplicity.
