Charleston International Airport - Customer Case Study

Charleston Airport (chs-airport.com) partnered with DataSpring to modernize its transport-industry website, replicate and improve existing functionality, and give staff direct control over content. The project needed automated, up-to-date arrival/departure displays, staff and manager directories with restricted employee areas, and an editing experience that let non-technical users make changes without breaking page layouts.

DataSpring implemented Kentico CMS for its ease, extensibility and user-friendly editing, building custom solutions including a repeater-driven rental-car display backed by a simple table, custom user fields for staff/manager directories, and a webpart that parses FTP’d XML flight data for live schedules. The result: airport staff gained near-immediate control of content after minimal training, eliminating the previous days-long change cycle and allowing them to add, delete and update site information themselves.
