Carphone Warehouse, a leading mobile phone retailer, needed an e-commerce site that reflected its strong in‑store customer experience and produced a clear, conversion‑focused user journey—especially for growing mobile audiences. The challenge was to present device and plan choices simply while integrating stock, payment, trade‑in and order tracking systems without ballooning the project budget.

Continuum built the site on Kentico, using customizable Web Parts and e‑commerce structures to create a Device & Plan Comparison Tool, streamlined checkout and bespoke integrations via Kentico’s open code, with a strong emphasis on UX/UI. The relaunch drove a 76% increase in conversions, 110% growth in mobile traffic, a 15% rise in overall sessions and 45% more overall traffic (reaching ~250,000 monthly visitors), and earned Site of the Year 2015 recognition.
