Cancer Research Institute - Customer Case Study

Cancer Research Institute (CRI) partnered with BlueModus to build "I'm the Answer to Cancer," a consumer-focused site to broaden public awareness and adoption of cancer immunotherapy. The project needed to make complex medical information easy to navigate and understand, incorporate social engagement features that fit the site’s look and feel, and motivate patients, caregivers, and advocates to register, share stories, and interact.

BlueModus implemented an engagement path using Kentico features—Facebook and on-site registration, content personalization, user profiles, private messaging, newsletters, and a RESTful hover-over glossary for medical terms—so users could personalize content, post stories tied to profiles, message peers, and receive mailbox/email notifications. Results included increased registrations, more user-submitted content, streamlined peer-to-peer messaging, repeat visits via notifications and newsletters, and improved personalized content delivery.
