The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) is Canada’s primary non‑profit registry for purebred dogs, representing 20,000 members and over 700 breed clubs. CKC’s legacy website forced visitors to call for routine tasks, relied heavily on PDFs and paper workflows, lacked mobile responsiveness, and needed to surface data from an external APPX database—hindering member self‑service, retention, and digital growth.
Seventyeight Digital rebuilt CKC’s site on Kentico with a responsive Bootstrap design, custom K# integrations to pull APPX data, and a Member Dashboard plus online transactions (new dog/litter entries, kennel updates, purchases). The new platform reduced support calls, enabled many formerly paper processes to move online, increased engagement and return visits through dynamic content and web parts, and provided a scalable foundation for improved SEO, analytics and future paperless operations.
