BruceGreySimcoe - Customer Case Study

BruceGreySimcoe (RTO7), the regional tourism organization for Bruce, Grey and Simcoe counties, engaged Seventyeight Digital to launch the Four Seasons of Fun contest to build awareness for a new BruceGreySimcoe brand and to drum up excitement ahead of a consumer website launch. The project required a visually striking HTML5/CSS3 site that encouraged user submissions (text, photos, YouTube videos) tied to dates and locations, plus a frictionless public voting system and a simple judging backend — features that Kentico did not fully provide out of the box.

Seventyeight built a custom, interactive ASP.NET submission form that saved entries as Kentico custom content types and used Kentico workflows, repeaters, macros and the Image Editor for moderation, voting, mapping and gallery display. The result was a highly engaging, easily managed contest site with social sharing, streamlined judging and voting processes, faster development time, and a scalable Kentico-based platform ready to support future contests and ongoing promotional activity.
