The British Pharmacological Society (BPS) engaged Positive Technology in 2014 to redevelop its entire web presence and increase member engagement through an 18‑month digital strategy. Key challenges included creating an intuitive, responsive site and member portal, optimizing user journeys across devices, and integrating tightly with the society’s cloud-hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM and an external publishing access control system.

Positive built the solution on the Kentico CMS using agile development, extending the admin interface and integrating web services to link CRM entities, event/course management, and external journal access. Since launch, the portal has added over 2,200 new users (a 35% increase in registered users), continues to be enhanced, and Kentico has proven valuable for meeting the society’s digital membership engagement goals.
