Brau Union, Austria’s market-leading brewer with eight breweries and dozens of national and regional brands, needed to consolidate complex internal processes and meet diverse B2B customer needs on a single secure platform. The goals were to streamline ordering and data maintenance, unify multiple “island” systems, and provide a flexible marketing-material portal so caterers and retailers could present and order products easily.

The diamond:dogs/Emakina team launched brauunionplus.at on Kentico, integrating it with SAP to automate purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices, and to provide 24/7 ordering, account access to documents, purchase analytics, and an “advertising studio” (beer‑mat generator, poster templates, downloadable imagery). The portal delivered improved usability with minimal training, intelligent APIs and scalability, and is already used by more than 1,000 customers while simplifying administrative workflows and supporting electronic invoicing for sustainability.
