BGL Group, one of the UK’s largest consumer insurance groups and home to brands like comparethemarket.com, needed a complete website transformation to better reflect its market position, showcase its sub-brands, and improve discoverability and social sharing. The existing site was overly internal, difficult to navigate, and lacked the flexibility for editors to keep content fresh, so BGL engaged MMT Digital to create a modern, impactful corporate platform.
MMT Digital rebuilt the site using the latest technologies and Kentico CMS, restructuring navigation from customer feedback, introducing flexible widgets and video components, and creating dedicated brand pages with centrally managed color palettes. Personalisation via Kentico EMS targeted key user groups, while editors gained easy control of copy, images and media—resulting in an engaging, easy-to-manage website that showcases BGL’s history and brands and delivers a stronger user experience and improved brand awareness.
