Belfast Waterfront, a major concert, conference and exhibition venue operated by Belfast City Council, needed to replace its outdated 2007 website and reposition the venue to reflect a new business model that emphasised conferences as well as entertainment. The brief required a smooth migration to a new CMS, clear user journeys for multiple audience types, integration with back-office event systems, resilient hosting and analytics, and tools to drive bookings and ticket sales.

i3 Digital led UX workshops, trained council staff and built a Kentico 9 site with banner management, image carousels, event filters, newsletter and media library functionality, plus hosting and Google Analytics integration. The result is a modern, responsive, user-friendly site that better showcases conference and entertainment offerings, improves admin workflows, and supports increased engagement and revenue generation.
