Be There, created by Jack.org, is a comprehensive online resource that teaches young people how to support friends through mental-health struggles. Faced with a four-month launch window, a tech‑savvy audience that rejected gimmicks, and requirements for strong information architecture, linkable page models, cross‑browser compatibility and the capacity to handle heavy campaign traffic, the team needed a powerful, user-focused site built quickly.

A.K.A. used Kentico Xperience to accelerate development by reusing components, leveraging marketplace parts and caching, and integrating services like Akamai, Salesforce and Google Analytics. The result was an award‑winning, easy‑to‑manage bilingual site—BeThere.org—honored with two Webby Awards and a People’s Voice Award, partnered with the Born This Way Foundation, and achieving over 300,000 unique visitors in the first half of 2020 with strong engagement and a high return‑visitor rate.
