BDO USA, a national member of the global BDO network providing assurance, tax, financial advisory and consulting services, needed a reimagined, responsive website that moved from a custom CMS to Kentico. Key challenges included delivering a modern design, single sign-on and integrations with internal systems, faceted search, event registration, richer content relationships (professionals, services, industries), giving marketing full administrative control, meeting security/SEO needs, supporting global stakeholders, and doing it all on an accelerated timeline.
BizStream implemented Kentico, iterating on agency-provided designs and building custom web parts, form controls, workflows, content staging and scheduled integrations (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft Dynamics CRM) to enable event management, activity tracking and email marketing. The new platform gave marketing easy self-service editing and content relationship control; results included a 40% increase in traffic, 600 pages of new content, 1,500+ URL redirects, migration of 600+ pages/PDFs, 425 bios posted and improved site governance and scalability.
