A Kentico Case Study
BDO, a global network of public accounting, tax and advisory firms, needed a single, scalable website format for all member firms to replace disparate local sites. The challenge was a large international change process: choosing a host, enabling fast global content exchange, enforcing a consistent navigation and functionality standard (news, events, people, Insights knowledge base) and providing rapid rollout and ongoing support across many countries.
TrueLime and BDO built a Kentico-based global template hosted on Microsoft Azure with a CDN, offering a standard English template with multi‑language support, central image bank, granular permissions and easy local customization. The rollout uses an iterative approach with pilot testing, bespoke CMS manuals, training and a governance model; individual sites can be created in a day with content migration in 1–3 months. Results include 47,000 pages and 3,115 users in Europe (June 2017), 930 locally created tables, generation of about 1.4 million web pages a month, and a four‑server setup to maintain performance.
