A Kentico Case Study

Automation Alley - Customer Case Study

Automation Alley is a technology business association and accelerator in Southeast Michigan that supports tech-focused companies with talent, business development and matchmaking services. Facing an outdated site and growing mobile use, they needed a redesigned website that simplified member workflows (posting press releases, events, discounted registrations), supported complex company-based membership roles and permissions, and was fully responsive across devices — plus migration of ~900 member profiles and a payments interface for membership renewals and event registration.

Partnering with High Monkey, Automation Alley implemented the Kentico CMS with redesigned information architecture, responsive templates, documented training, and a custom BrainTree payment integration that treated events as e-commerce products. High Monkey migrated member profiles and roles, added permission macros and light customizations, and launched the site after a seven-month build. The result: an updated, mobile-friendly site that’s easier to manage, supports 1,000+ members and differentiated event pricing, and drove nearly 4,000 more visitors in December 2014 versus December 2013.
